Czech translation services
The Czech language belongs to the western group of Slavic languages along with Slovak, Polish, and the High and Low Serbian. The different forms and inflections of the Czech words, as well as the irregular morphology of the language, make Czech a rather difficult language to learn and translate. More difficult than its morphology is perhaps its phonology – many Czech words apparently have no vowels; their pronunciation is made possible by the ability of the consonants to turn into sonorants (by adding a schwa to the main sound and thus form a syllable).
Influenced by Old Church Slavonic and German, Czech has eventually gained an identity of its own. With almost 12 million native speakers, Czech has been growing in popularity since the 1989 revolution. Today many foreign investors show interest in the economic resources of the Czech Republic and in its tourist potential. This increasing international attention is reflected by the constant demand for Czech speaking linguists and translators.
